2. Liquid Chlorine It is the intent of the City of Washington to purchase and receive delivery of approximately seventy (70), 150-pound cylinders of Liquid Chlorine for use at its Water Treatment Plant No. 1 and Sewage Treatment Plant No. 2 during the term of this Contract. The City also expects to purchase and receive delivery of eight (8), 2,000-pound containers of Liquid Chlorine for use at its Water Treatment Plant No. 2. 3. Hydrofluosilicic Acid The City intends to purchase and receive delivery of approximately forty (40), 300-pound drums of 23% Hydrofluosilicic Acid for use at its Water Treatment Plants No. 1 and No. 2. The acid content shall be in conformance with AWWA standards currently in effect, and the content shall be clearly marked on the cylinders, the shipping notice, and the invoice. 4. Liquid Ferric Chloride The City intends to purchase and receive delivery of approximately 16,000 gallons (180,000 pounds) of 38% to 42% liquid ferric chloride for use at its Sewage Treatment Plant No. 2. Orders for liquid ferric chloride will be made in quantity of no less than 2,000 gallons. The liquid ferric chloride shall be in conformance with AWWA standards currently in effect, and the content shall be clearly marked on the shipping notice and the invoice. 5. Polymers The City intends to purchase and receive delivery of approximately 9,500 pounds of polymers for use at its Sewage Treatment Plant No. 2. Orders for polymers will be made in quantities of no less than 2000 pounds. The polymers used shall be in conformance with AWWA standards currently in effect, and the content shall be clearly marked on the shipping notice and the invoice. 6. Phosphate The City intends to purchase and receive delivery of approximately 10,500 pounds of WSU 350 PO4 phosphate in 50-pound bags. There will be no exceptions to the WSU 350 product.
