The City of DeSoto, Texas is requesting proposals from qualified individuals/firms for a stand-by contract for the clearance, demolition, removal, reduction, and disposal of disaster debris as directed by the City in order to eliminate immediate threat to the public health and safety. Also required is the elimination of immediate threats of significant damage to improved public or private property and that which is considered essential to ensure economic recovery of the affected community. Contractors shall provide disaster recovery technical program management assistance to City officials. Work under this proposal will be utilized on an “as needed” basis or when notice to proceed is given to the successful proposer(s).
