Specifications include, but are not limited to: The South Windsor High School Library roof replacement project encompasses an area of approximately 6,635 sq. ft. The roof will have the existing modified roof membrane, insulation and flashings removed down to the existing flat metal or concrete roof deck. A new 2 ply modified roof system installed on a ½” cover board on ¼” per ft. tapered polyisocyanurate insulation system. Additionally, the existing 27’ x 27’ square pyramidal skylight will be replaced with new. a. Other significant work includes replacement of the existing roof drains and installation of a new overflow scuppers. b. General and Subcontract Bids shall consist of but are not limited to: general construction, carpentry, sheet metal work, painting, electrical work, site restoration and all other work necessary for or incidental to the full completion of the entire project, including all equipment, labor, material, and incidentals in connection therewith.
