The State of Michigan is seeking a solution to address the significant resource time required for manually converting Word documents into fillable PDF forms using Adobe software. This also includes converting older PDF forms into an editable Word document. The MGCB relies on approximately 600 forms (400 internal and 200 public-facing) to collect sensitive data essential for administering gaming license applications. This process demands an extensive effort to format interactive elements like text fields, radio buttons, and dropdowns. Additionally, maintaining these forms for updates further increases the workload. The proposed solution should streamline the creation of fillable PDF forms and enable efficient updates and management, ensuring faster processing, compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), accessibility, and legal standards, and seamless integration with existing systems.
