The Contractor will provide snake removal services within the City of Tucson, as well as surrounding areas, including but not limited to Marana, Avra Valley, Catalina, and Corona de Tucson. C.1. Contractor's Responsibilites The Contractor shall perform snake removal services strictly without the use of chemicals, chemical solutions, or any synthesized chemical and/or created compounds, as outlined below: A. Contractor shall furnish all equipment and labor necessary to provide removal services at various locations throughout the City. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing service to the City of Tucson area as well as outlying locations, which currently include Marana, Avra Valley, Catalina and Corona de Tucson. The City reserves the right to add additional sites during the term of the contract. B. Service shall include clean out, control and removal of, but not be limited to, all snake species. C. Contractor shall respond by phone call to a designated City representative within one (1) hour of initial contact. Contractor shall respond on-site at the designated location and provide removal/abatement service within two (2) hours of initial notification. Contractor representative will be available twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (days) per week. D. Contractor shall survey exterior attachments to a building (gutters, overhangs, etc.) for snakes when requested by the City or as seen by the service person on site. E. Contractor shall maintain an accurate report of services performed under this contract. Contractor shall initiate such record keeping at the time of award and shall retain all such files throughout the term of the contract. Contractor shall provide a copy of such records to the Contract Representative upon request reflecting the site work completed. An accurate report of removal service activities shall include, but not be limited to the following information: 1. Date of removal 2. Location of removal 3. Reason for removal 4. Service rate 5. Method of extrication 6. Type of species removed 7. Total number of species removed F. Invoice shall include the name of the person requesting snake removal services, their employee number, the requesting City Department, phone number or call back number and purchase order number. G. In the event that City employees are onsite at the time of service, the Contractor shall obtain a signature, employee number and the date of service from the City staff. H. When the City calls in a service request, it is of the utmost importance that prior arrangements be made for each site removal by a City Representative. Any issues should be immediately reported to the Contract Representative.
