This work includes HMA cold milling, HMA resurfacing, placing High Friction Surface, and temporary and permanent pavement markings. Prior to paving, the Contractor will apply HMA bond coat at a rate of 0.05-0.15 gal/syd. The HMA overlay material will be HMA, 5EML at an application rate of 165 lbs/syd with PG binder 64-28. The Contractor will provide a mix design to MDOT for review and approval. The contractor is responsible for removing the milled material off site. Maintaining traffic will be provided by MDOT (arrow boards, signs, flaggers, and grabber cones). All work will be completed in accordance with the Michigan Department of Transportation 2020 Standard Specification for Construction. GENERAL INFORMATION The project is located on M-32 beginning 325 feet east of Coats Street to 275 feet west of Chambers Street and 70 feet west of Mountain Jack Road to 510 feet east of Elm Street in Warner Township, Antrim County and Elmira Township, Otsego County.
