Wireless Access Point Replacement Plans and Specifications • The proposed replacement access points should exceed the current performance specifications of our existing Extreme Networks AP230 and AP250 devices. • Clearly indicate Erate eligible items and Erate non-eligible items on the proposal(s). • Our District has roughly 3,200 students and 500 staff at 10 locations, of which 5 are main school buildings. With 1to1 Chromebook access K-12, and students/staff using multiple devices on our network, classroom access points should have capabilities to support a classroom of 32 students. Additionally, common spaces or outdoor access points should support large quantities of users (ex. gym, theater, cafeteria, farm outdoor spaces). • All new access points must include: 1Gbps PoE ethernet port, ceiling tile mounting hardware, 802.11ax Wifi6e support, 802.3at PoE Type 2 support, vlan tagging, guest access capabilities, preferred Google authentication support for wireless users. At least two radios, one of which should support 2.4Ghz. • Access points must support automated configuration backups, CLI access to all access points, 802.1x auth support, QoS for voice and video. • Provide pricing for 40 wall mount hardware for common space APs and outdoor mounts if existing J-mounts cannot be used for outdoor APs. • Provide optional pricing for 802.11ax Wifi6e and/or 802.3be Wifi7 access points that support a 2.5Gbps multi-gig ethernet option. • Provide optional pricing for any additional management capabilities. • Provide optional pricing for training of the management system(s). • Disclose any additional power requirements based on current AP model equivalents.
