4.1. For each of the outlined requirements below, Respondents are requested to outline details of the proposed service and analytical methodology. 1. Respondents should outline a general picture of TXST’s economic enterprise impact, its size and impact – jobs created/salaries, employee/student spending, business activity spurred by services and goods purchased, construction, multiplier effect, and all other relevant economic factors. 2. Respondents should outline a general picture of TXST’s investment in students, taxpayers, and society, and how it provides a general return to the Texas economy from the State’s total investment and a summary of our return on investment. 3. Respondents should provide a detailed analysis of ROI to the State for every research dollar appropriated directly to TXST, and for research supported from competitive funds available to all Texas higher education institutions (for example, CPRIT). 4. Respondents are requested to provide deliverables at a minimum consisting of the following: detailed report, accompanied by an executive summary, with fact sheets, PowerPoint and other infographics, able to meaningfully and creatively tell our story. 5. Respondents are to describe a plan to support the dissemination of findings in various forums, media, and including the State Legislature as needed during the upcoming Session. 6. Respondents shall outline specific examples of providing services of similar size and scope as TXST to other public four-year institutions of higher education. 7. Respondents shall outline timing needed to develop, complete, and deliver the analysis. The university would like that work be completed, delivered and disseminated by May 1, 2025.
