The County is seeking qualified proposers to furnish garments and products for rental and/or purchase and laundry services for rental items, including but not limited to furnishing new shirts, pants, jeans, jackets, emblems, mats, and shop towels. The service includes measuring, fitting, hemming, taking-in and letting out, adjusting, stitching, sewing, repairing, laundering, stainremoving, pressing, inventorying, delivering, pick up, and replacing uniforms. The uniform and product quantities are estimates based on current usage. These estimates are for acquainting the offeror with probable quantities to be expected during the contract period. These estimates are not intended to set forth minimum or maximum quantities on this contract and shall not be construed as such. The County reserves the right to remove from or add to the roster of employees serviced and products provided under the contract with the selected vendor. No damage fees or replacement costs will be charged by the offeror except for loss by employee, or willful abuse of garment beyond normal wear and tear. All damaged garments must be made available for examination by a Union County representative to make final determination as to the damage or replacement cost.
