Entering into a lease with the Town for the utilization of the gym and locker rooms at the Flanagan Center located at 423 Park Avenue, Huntington, N.Y. for community and/or educational programs. The use of the facilities at the Flanagan Center is restricted to the first-floor gym, office and locker rooms only. The Town is desirous of capital improvements to the Flanagan Center to improve the overall appearance of, and allow for community, sport and education programming. The Town will require a minimum capital improvement investment of $50,000.00 from the vendor to be used on improvements to the gym and locker rooms for the life of the contract. All improvements will be mutually agreed on between the Director of Parks and Recreation and the vendor. The lease does not provide exclusive use of the facility to the awarded vendor. Any Town scheduled programming will supersede vendor’s programming. Note that no Town operated program shall go beyond 5 p.m. on any given day.
