WIHCC is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors with the appropriate resources to provide Bio-Hazardous Waste and Pharmaceutical Waste services. For the removal, transportation, and disposal of biohazardous and other medical wastes such as Biohazardous, Pharmaceutical, and Laboratory. A. BIO-HAZARDOUS WASTE 1. Contractor shall collect, transport, treat and dispose of all BioHazardous Waste generated by customer during the term of this Agreement. “Bio-Hazardous Waste” means cultures and stocks, human blood and blood products, medical sharps, hypodermic needles, syringes, and contaminated personal protective equipment. 2. Contractor hereby acknowledges that they will comply with all tribal, local, state, federal laws regarding the collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of all Bio-Hazardous Waste covered by this agreement. 3. Contractor Responsibility - Respondent shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and services necessary to accomplish this scope of services. 4. List of Participating Locations and Inventory of Collection Receptacles - The Respondent is responsible for maintaining a list of all participating locations, and an inventory of the type of collection unit at each location, and a list of all exchanged receptacles or liners delivered to each location by date. At all locations, Respondent’s qualified personnel shall contact the location’s point of contact (POC) for pick-up, documentation handoff, and receptacle exchanges at the requested frequency.
