The purpose of the Resource Directory for Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities in the Atlanta Region is to enable consumers and their caregivers to have access to a tool containing information about service providers which they can use to connect to local resources and services in the community. Resource information contained in the directory includes services that may be offered by government, provided for a fee, covered through insurance or offered at no cost to the user. Resources in the directory are intended for information purposes only. The organizations listed in the directory may not be inclusive of all providers available in the marketplace. Inclusion in the directory is not a recommendation or endorsement of a provider or services. The Atlanta Regional Commission does not license, inspect or regulate providers and cannot guarantee the quality of the service they provide. Deliverables and Timeline: 1. Any Potential Bidder will have to initially publish, print, and distribute/ship (1) one edition of the Resource Directories with a minimum of 4,000 copies for cost. Atlanta Regional Commission will share an agreed upon percentage of any revenue from any ad sales to be included in the directory. Atlanta Regional Commission will have the right to approve the title, format, advertisers and contents for the directory prior to publication. Information is pulled from vetted external resources as well as the ePRO database which is collected, organized, and regularly reviewed for accuracy by ARC staff. The Directory will be a publication of the Atlanta Regional Commission. 2. The Company agrees to publish a high-quality directory. Specifications include: Size: 6x9 4 color Cover Bound (spiral or equivalent) Font size: 11 point throughout Pages estimated: 150 3. The Company will design and execute an advertising sales campaign to sell ad space in the directory. All advertisers will be determined through a process that matches ARC polices for inclusion in the EmpowerlinePRO (ePRO) database, a comprehensive service provider professional tool. Atlanta Regional Commission will have the right to approve the listed advertisers. 4. The Company will enter into an agreement that will propose payment to Atlanta Regional Commission royalty amounts based on total revenue collected or pages of advertising sold. 5. The Company will agree to an editorial plan and production schedule. 6. The Company will ship copies to local county based aging programs from the list provided by Atlanta Regional Commission. 7. An electronic copy of the Resource Directory will be sent to ARC for placement on its’ Empowerline website.
