The legal services described in this Scope of Services are intended to serve as a general guideline for the types of legal service which may be required by the Authority. It is expected that Respondents will have knowledge of regulations pertaining to HUD, the State of Connecticut and the City of Middletown as that knowledge may be required in the provision of services under any Service Area. All legal services will be provided subject to the direction of, and in cooperation with, the Authority’s Executive Director. The following Service Areas are a fair representation of the services that may be required by the Authority, however, they are not meant to limit the scope of work requested by the Authority. It is intended that the respondents will provide counsel upon request on a broad range of legal matters in one, several or all of the Service Areas provided in this Scope of Services. This Scope of Services will form the basis of Respondent's Technical Proposal. Address each item in the Scope by stipulating your interest in representing the Authority on all matters related to the Service Area. Provide supporting narrative on your background and capacity to provide the service. If provision of services within a Service Area is not proposed by the Respondent, address the item with the statement "No Response" for that Service Area.
