1.2. SCOPE OF WORK: The Work will be split into a Base Bid, and two Additive Alternate Bids, as follows: 1.2.1. Base Bid – This work consists of tree removal, clearing, removal of an existing pedestrian timber bridge, construction of a 50-foot span pedestrian bridge with cast-in-place concrete abutments, riprap, seeding, traffic control and other associated work as detailed in the Plans. 1.2.2. Additive Alternate Bid 1 – This work consists of clearing, tree removal, removal of a second existing pedestrian timber bridge, installation of a precast concrete pipe culvert with end sections, riprap, seeding, and other associated work. 1.2.3. Additive Alternate Bid 2 – This work consists of clearing, removal of an existing pipe culvert, installation of a precast concrete pipe culvert with end sections, riprap, seeding, and other associated work.
