The Water Treatment Facility currently has two (2) Automatic Transfer Switches to switch to generator power. Switch #1 (ATS 1) is an ASCO 962 1000-amp transfer switch. (Water Treatment Facility). Switch #2 (ATS 2) is an ASCO 962 260-amp transfer switch. (Raw Water Pumphouse). The current switches have been labeled as obsolete due to the lack of parts available to repair. The scope of this bid would be to replace the existing switches with new closed transition switches. However, the respondent can also provide a bid to retrofit the existing switches with newer components and upgrade them to closed transition, if such technology exists. Prints from the original installation are included at the end of this bid packet.
