. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: A. Contractor shall be a California licensed, C-22 Asbestos Abatement Contractor, licensed by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs, Contracts State License Board and maintain an active license at all times during the term of this Agreement. B. Contractor must provide a copy of current Hazardous Substances Removal certification (HAZ), issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License board. C. Contractor must be certified by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) LeadRelated Construction (LRC) as a lead supervisor. D. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, services, testing, employee training, respirator fit test and medical exams, transportation, and daily expense to meet the requirements of this Specification. E. Contractor shall provide, without charge, a base proposal with firm cost estimate for each individual job, describing work to be performed at a requested site and/or area, which shall consist of the following: i. Inclusion of all critical barriers to fully protect workers until it is demonstrated that the contaminant concentrations are below permissible exposure level. ii. Estimate for labor hours and number of abatement workers with schedule and availability. iii. Disposal of all generated material whether classed as construction debris or hazardous waste. All material classed as hazardous shall be contained and placed into proper disposal bins until transported to an appropriate hazardous disposal site (i.e., Designated Facility). Uncontaminated construction debris shall be separated and disposed of at a sanitary landfill.
