The City of St. Petersburg is requestiing quotes from qualified vendors to replace flooring in the Lake Maggiore Environmental Education Center at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. The vendor must remove the existing vinyl flooring, repair the concrete sub-floor, and install extra heavy commercial laminate. Primed solid wood trim must replace the existing vinyl trim. The nature center will be divided into three phases for this project. Demolition, subfloor repair, and installation of new flooring/trim must be completed in each phase before beginning the next phase. The vendor will be responsible for pulling toilets, sinks, and appliances as needed to install flooring. The City plumber will reconnect any plumbing once the floor is installed.
