The work covered by the Project includes construction, testing and startup of the RTP Medium-Low Voltage Upgrade Project. The work includes the following major components, including but not limited to: • Replacement of PG&E 21 kV service • Replacement of 21kV switchgear • Replacement of 21kV-480V stepdown transformers • Bus duct connections • Replacement of 480V distribution switchgear • Replacement of 480V cogeneration switchgear • Replacement of 480V standby generator and standby generator switchgear • New and modified control system components • New cable tray structural bridge • New feeders to interconnect to existing process MCC feeders within dedicated marshalling cabinets • Structural retaining wall and concrete pad • Civil infrastructure structural and electrical modifications to the existing Power Generation • Mechanical and architectural and other related improvements. • Facility startup and testing. The proposed scope of work for is outlined below: Services related to this RFP and specific tasks associated with the services include and are not limited to: • Construction management/administration. • Act as Agency/Contractor liaison. • Project correspondence and document control using Procore. • Coordination with the consultants providing Engineering Services During Construction for the Project. • Source and material testing. • Special inspection services. • Coordinate and lead construction meetings including the Pre-Construction Conference and Weekly Progress Meetings. • Track field quantities, review of progress payment requests, making payment recommendations. • Progress, schedule, and budget monitoring and reporting. • Contract enforcement. • Coordinate review and responses for process submittals and RFIs using Procore. • Review and issue Design Clarifications. • Create and review Request for Quotations related to Design Clarifications or owner requests. Analyze and negotiate RFQ and change order responses. • Construction inspection and inspection reports. • Maintain photographic and video records of construction progress. • Coordinate and/or accompany site visits from outside agencies, visiting inspectors, or other agencies with jurisdiction. • Coordination of equipment testing and start-up. • Final inspection. • Punch list. • Contract closeout
