The Scope of Work is based on plans and specifications available on the City of Burlington RFP site at: www.burlingtonvt.gov/rfp. The Oakledge Park Lower Pavilion Restroom Renovations project will focus on the completion of two new family restrooms within the existing footprint of the building, the installation of new sliding doors in an existing opening on the north side of the building, the replacement of an existing drinking fountain on the same side. The City is interested in working with a budget and quality minded contractor that will aggressively pursue and suggest cost-saving options as the project unfolds. If enough efficiencies are realized, BPRW will pursue some of the remainder of the project depicted in final drawings, with the first priority being replacement of fixtures in the two existing restrooms. Please carefully read the following information that details the City’s expectations in relation to the project scope of work. The selected contractor will provide the City with professional services to realize the successful implementation of all aspects of this scope. The work must take place during our seasonal shutdown, which is October 15, 2024 to May 1, 2025, with all tasks completed no later than April 15, 2025. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating work with all sub-contractors. The list and order of activities outlined below may be amended and finalized by the contractor with BPRW approval.
