Specifications include, but are not limited to: In concert with the M2 Grant Program, this Scope of Work is designed to assemble a panel of Contractors to achieve economies of scale on a list of fixed unit prices for the purchase and installation of equipment and devices designed to remove litter, debris, and other water quality pollutants; Hydrodynamic separators are flow-through structures with a settling or separation unit to remove sediments and other pollutants and are widely used in stormwater treatment. No outside power source is required, because the energy of the flowing water allows the sediments to efficiently separate. Depending on the type of unit, this separation may be by means of centrifugal force or indirect filtration. Catch basin inserts are designed to remove oil and grease, trash, debris, and sediment and improve the efficiency of catch basins. Some inserts are designed to drop directly into existing catch basins, while others may require retrofit construction. Several varieties of catch basin inserts exist for filtering runoff.
