• Harvest approximately 430 acres at Joe Kennedy Farm. o Corn moisture at Joe Kennedy Farm must be =/< 16% before harvesting • Harvest approximately 670 acres at Rogers Farm. • Vendor must provide: o Combine with a 30” row corn header o Grain cart to harvest o Vendor will fill up GCI trucks to be delivered to the field. o Vendor’s combine and equipment must be prepared prior to arriving at farms to ensure proficient harvesting. o Vendor will ensure excess corn will not remain (on the ground or stalk) due to improper equipment settings or malfunctions. o Expenses – to include but not limited to – all repairs and maintenance, fuel, insurance, parts, and labor, transporting equipment to our GCI farm facilities. o Vendor will be responsible for any accidents caused on state property from vendor’s equipment, staff, or contract laborers. o If vendor has equipment problems, the vendor will still be responsible for corn harvesting. If the vendor chooses a sub-contractor, GCI must approve. GCI will only issue payment to contracted vendor for services. o Equipment can only be serviced on GCI farms during daylight hours, unless approved in advance by the Deputy Farm Director. • GCI will provide: o All hauling from the field to GCI bins. o GCI will operate the large corn dryer located at Rogers Farm. o GCI will pay vendor a per acre charge of corn harvested based on GCI GPS acres per field at planting. o GCI is aware that farming is very dependent on the weather and equipment failures, and understand that these issues may cause delays. o Joe Kennedy and Rogers Farms are closed on approved State Holidays. **A list of approved State Holidays will be provided • Vendor must contact site location as specified on Purchase Order.
