Statement of Work The Contractor will provide pipe testing, repairs, and insulation to Building 2, Unit 1 Crawlspace for OPWDD Sunmount DDSOO. The Contractor will provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work. Work is to be completed within 60 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid and Certified Payrolls must be submitted at time of completion. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of crawlspace pipe testing, repairs, and insulation, and before the removal of equipment, the Contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or their representative. Detailed Specifications Scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Assess all mechanical system piping in the crawlspace area. Identify any and all points, or potential points of failure. 2. Assess plumbing system (domestic water and drainage) piping in the crawlspace. Identify any and all points, or potential points of failure. 3. Make repairs, as necessary to all mechanical and plumbing piping, fittings, valves, etc. deemed faulty during assessment. 4. There will be no hot work performed in the building. All connections will be copper ProPress or threaded fittings, as appropriate. Dielectric fittings are to be used where the possibility of galvanic series corrosion exists. 5. Any inactive and/or abandoned piping, fittings, valves, etc. are to be removed and properly disposed of off site, at the expense of the Contractor. 6. Any and all materials removed as part of the work being performed are to be properly disposed of, off site, at the expense of the Contractor. 7. Upon completion of repairs, all mechanical system piping and all DHW piping will be insulated.
