The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Justice & Public Safety Cabinet (JPSC), Kentucky Department of Corrections (DOC). These services are to develop criteria for site requirements, conduct a comprehensive site and feasibility study and design for a Level 4 Prison in Eastern Kentucky as authorized in 2024-2026 BUDGET OF THE COMMONWEALTH. The comprehensive site and feasibility study should ensure the area can support the work force needed for staffing the new Facility. The Commonwealth reserves the option to increase the scope of services under this RFP if needed and as funding allows.
