Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide all service, labor, materials and parts necessary & proper to provide/perform insertion valves & tapping services as per City requirements; The CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to promptly insert valves into existing live water mains sizes 6” through 24” as needed for the City of Worcester without the need for any additional shutdown or valve work. Additionally, there will be an hourly bid price for the services of a fully equipped valve truck including 2 personnel. While not all work shall be performed under emergency situations, any bidder shall be capable of responding within a three (3) hour period and performing and completing work within a twelve (12) hour period on all size valve insertions or provide valve operating services via the truck, in order to deal with emergency situations.
