Barrow County (County) is seeking the services of a professional engineering consultant to conduct an engineering and feasibility study to develop alternative concepts. The proposed projects included are Rockwell Church Road at City Pond Road, Tom Miller Road at Haymon Morris Road, and Rockwell Church Road from SR 53 to Carl Cedar Hill Road. Rockwell Church Road at City Pond Road and Tom Miller Road at Haymon Morris Road are proposed intersection improvements. Rockwell Church Road at City Pond Road is anticipated to be a roundabout. Tom Miller Road at Haymon Morris Road should include concepts for a roundabout design and a traffic signal design. Rockwell Church Road from SR 53 to Carl Cedar Hill Road is proposed to be a roadway capacity and operational improvement project. The improvements include resurfacing, restriping, adding turn lanes, and shoulder improvements.
