Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Pursuant to the provisions of G.L. c. 30B, §8, it is determined that the continuing provision of Homeless Transportation Contract in accordance with the existing contract with Malden Transportation is necessary to avoid endangerment to the health and safety of school students within the care of the City of Everett School System. The current School Department Homeless Transportation program has been competitively procured, notwithstanding the inadvertent failure to publish this procurement on the COMMBUYS system. This Transportation contract serves students who are homeless and do not have the resources to attend school on their own. Disruption of this service would impact the provision of education to students who rely on this program for their transportation while attending the Everett public schools, and would threaten their health and safety
