The consultant will be responsible for the complete development of the capital improvement programming Part I and Part II for Hagerstown Community College’s Administration and Student Affairs Building renovation and addition. The College will submit for Design funding for FY29. All documents have to be submitted to the State of Maryland no later than March 1, 2026 to be considered for program approval and funding for FY29. All documents must be submitted for review to the College no later than December 31, 2025. This will allow for the College to make any changes and to have it approved by the Board of Trustees. The ASA Building is 23,972 GSF and currently houses the following departments: • President’s Office Suite • Boardroom • Public Relations Office • Registration • Finance • Financial Aid • Records • Human Resources • Recruiting • Day Care Center The programming for this project will be to create a building where students only need to go to one location to talk to advisors, register for classes, work with financial aid, and pay their bills to Finance. Advising will be moved from the Student Center to the ASA. In addition, the President will be moving some of his direct staff into the building including but not limited to the VP of Finance and Administration and the Director of College Advancement along with their staff members.
