● Review project documentation throughout design and advise on opportunities to improve project sustainability and/or potential LEED points achievement. ● Assist UCSC in drafting/updating sustainability and LEED requirements. ● Monitor project compliance with UCSC sustainability requirements and goals, as well as with CALGreen and green building local requirements. ● Document any LEED credits assigned to UCSC and assist the design professionals and contractors. ● Chair regular sustainability/LEED meetings with the project team to clarify questions and track progress during design and construction. ● Provide sustainability/LEED UCSC Division 1 specifications to the campus, if needed. ● Prepare and update the LEED scorecard throughout the project. ● LEED Administrator will document all Location & Transportation credits, Indoor Water Use Reduction, and Innovation credits. LEED Administrator will also document other credits, if the project pursues the LEED-CALGreen Alternative Compliance path in selected credits. ● LEED Administrator will assist UCSC in developing a Green Building Education program as defined by the innovation catalog, as applicable. This may include creating content. ● Coordinate LEED documentation with design professionals, consultants and contractors. ● Track, review, and log documentation for each targeted LEED credit. ● Register the project with the USGBC/GBCI for LEED certification and manage LEEDonline including inviting team members to join LEED-online, assign credits, complete targeted LEED forms, and upload supporting documentation. ● Submit credits to the USGBC/GBCI towards LEED certification. Act as liaison with the USGBC/GBCI, coordinating responses to comments, until final certification award (target Gold).
