Portland Public Schools (PPS) is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide a comprehensive VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone system that replaces our existing phone system. The phone system is an integral tool for ensuring timely communication with parents, students, staff, and community members. It also supports essential safety and security protocols through its integration with our Paxton lockdown system and Valcom overhead paging system. Having a well-functioning and continuously operating phone system is vital to maintaining ongoing district operations. The purpose of this RFP is to procure a reliable and efficient phone solution that meets the communication needs of our schools and administrative offices.
