The Duluth Transit Authority (“DTA”) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Tritium Power Solutions, Inc. to provide urgent replacement and disposal of its existing charging units used for charging its electric revenue-service vehicles. Replacement units that are available for immediate shipment and installation are urgently needed to prevent further disruption to DTA transit operations. This product will provide the DTA with the following required elements: • Immediate availability. • “Drop-in” replacement for existing equipment without the need for alteration of real property or electrical infrastructure. • Facilitate the removal and disposal of existing equipment, and supply and install equipment that meets all agency requirements. • Modular design that allows charging equipment to retain partial functionality in the event of a failure, that allows modules to restore full functionality quickly and efficiently. • Three (3) year warranty for parts and support.
