The project goal is a complete repair of the water system by decommissioning the existing water wells and connecting into the 8-inch water main, owned by KCWA. The project consists of four main parts: • Evaluation of existing water service to all buildings and proposing repairs/alterations, as needed, along with at least two alternatives for a new water service. Construction area survey. Reviewing existing utility easements and modifying existing or new easements, if needed. Ensuring proposed construction is approved by KCWA. • Programming, design, and construction documentation for new service. To include biddable construction documents and bidding services. • Provide complete construction administration to include, but not limited to, daily contractor coordination with RING, submittal reviews (coordinated thru purchasing), coordination with KCWA, and as-built drawings. • Demolition documentation for decommissioning of existing water wells in accordance with 216-RICR-50-05-1, Public Drinking Water Regulations
