The Contractor will release women into phone phase through PIDS after mail data collection (approximately day 51 after upload of the monthly sample of women). Interviewing will be conducted per the monthly schedule provided by SCPRAMS and as specified in the CDCPRAMS Protocol. Fifteen call attempts shall be made to each phone number for each SCPRAMS participant. Fewer than15 call attempts per number is acceptable only in cases of a "terminating" outcome (e.g. completed interview, interview refused, language barrier, wrong number). The contractor may be asked to go beyond 15 call attempts per telephone number if they have a strong lead that the respondent will complete the survey or if a follow up call is scheduled prior to a batch phone phase expiration date. Call attempts should be staggered across different hours of the day and different days of the week, including at least two attempts during a weekend day, and weekday evening. The SCPRAMS Coordinator will provide guidance on the most productive calling days/times for SCPRAMS participants. The contractor will monitor this information using reports to be provided by the SCPRAMS Coordinator and will adjust calling schedules as necessary.
