The services that may be provided for the Small Business Program include the following: - Coordinate with OSP to understand Program Design and Program Guidelines; - Develop a grant application and design a workflow system to process applications and respond to applicant and potential applicant inquiry. Ensure that application process connects all relevant parties: City of Buffalo, funds administrator, applicant, etc. - Market program: contact all interested parties, and respond to questions and issues with respect to applications for assistance; - Provide guidance to participants in the preparation of application as well as during intake and qualification process; - Qualify and document qualifications and eligibility of all applicants; - Clearly communicate with applicants; - Document project costs; - Prepare and document awardee agreements and seek awardee execution for return to OSP; - Act as a liaison between the City and applicants/participants; - Monitor expenditures and participants grant compliance with grant requirements; - Assist participants with compliance with federal, state, and local requirements as necessary; - Assist participants to receive required training and work with training providers to development programs as necessary; - Disclose if real or perceived conflicts of interest arise as required by regulations.
