Patterson Kelley Heat Exchanger Model: 406-12-4 Equipment operating specifications: • Domestic 140*F • SHELL SIDE • COLD SIDE FLOW: 75 GPM • COLD SIDE TEMP IN: 60*F • HOT SIDE TEMP OUT: 140*F • HEAT OUTPUT BTU/HR: 3,000,000 • TUBE SIDE • HOT SIDE FLOW: 100 GPM • HOT SIDE TEMP IN: 375*F • HOT SIDE TEMP OUT: 180*F • HEAT OUTPUT BTU/HR: 3,100,000 I. Winning Bidder shall provide the following equipment/parts: A. All parts, tools, ladders, scaffolding, rental equipment, and any other materials necessary to complete this project. B. Heat exchangers for primary and secondary units must be Patterson-Kelley 4 and 6 pass equivalent and be compatable with existing county equipment. II. Winning Bidder shall perform the following tasks: A. Follow lockout-tagout protocol. Clean up work area at the end of the day. B. Construct primary and secondary tube bundles to meet heat exchangers design and performance specifications. Note heat exchanger specifications at the end of this document. C. Make sealing surfaces true including heat exchanger shell, tube sheets, and baffles/end caps. D. Check in with plant engineers when arriving and check out with plant engineers when leaving.
