PROJECT OBJECTIVES 1) The Contractor will ensure that relevant grant applications are prepared and submitted by DOFAW staff. 2) The Contractor will assist with compilation of financial reports and performance reports for existing awards for submission. 3) The Contractor will prepare a plan for facilities improvements including a budget, timeline, and regulatory requirements. 4) The Contractor will respond to DOFAW staff inquiries and requests relating to the research, conservation, or management of native invertebrate species and/or the Hawaiʻi Invertebrate Program. SERVICES TO BE COMPLETED The Contractor shall provide all staffing, equipment, and services to perform the tasks necessary. The Contractor shall reference published and/or peer-reviewed scientific literature when available. All written products must be edited and user-friendly for public review and understanding. The Contractor shall perform a consistency check of all data and facts referenced to inform management and provide guidance to the Hawaiʻi Invertebrate Program. The Contractor is responsible for work planning to ensure sufficient personnel or resources will be available to complete multiple, ongoing tasks and deliverables within the agreed-upon schedule. It is expected that multiple tasks will need to be underway at the same time to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
