The NYC Health Department is seeking to procure appropriately qualified contractor(s) to provide 1) specimen collection and transport and 2) vaccination services in a variety of settings to prevent, detect or mitigate communicable and vaccine-preventable diseases including, but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, tuberculosis, hepatitis A, measles, and mumps outbreaks. The Health Department anticipates that these services will be delivered primarily in 1) community settings (e.g., community-based organizations, senior centers, houses of worship, schools, indoor or outdoor community-based fairs, and other locations agreed upon by the Health Department and the contractor), 2) congregate residential settings (e.g., long-term care facilities, shelters, supportive housing programs, and homes for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities), and 3) non-congregate residential settings (e.g., housing developments and private homes). Depending on the nature of the deployment and the contractor’s facilities, the Health Department may request that services be delivered in the contractor’s own space. The contractor(s) will be expected to maintain a citywide network of appropriate personnel to deploy to locations across the five boroughs of NYC at the request and direction of the Health Department. The resulting contracts would be on-call contracts for both specimen collection and transport and vaccination services. Contractor(s) must have the ability to provide the full scope of services. The contractor(s) will only provide services (specimen collection and transport, vaccination, or both) at the Health Department’s request. There will be no minimum or maximum guarantee of work.
