EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS A) Furnish and install, so as to be fully operational and ready for use: • One new Trane or Carrier – 5 ton, rooftop mounted HVAC unit (or equal) B) Reconnect to the existing electrical circuit and thermostat. C) The awarded bidder must start and check operation of each unit and include all necessary parts, labor and installation at no additional charge. Installation work must include, but not limited to the following: • All required ducting modifications, crane lift, electrical work, gas line modification work, rail modifications and roof restoration work, etc. • Disconnection, removal and disposal of the existing rooftop mounted HVAC unit at no additional cost. • All roofing work required to accomplish the installation. This to include proper location of curb, verification of adequate structural support, penetration of roof, proper flashing of the curb, and all roof, ceiling and other restoration work required as a result of performing the installation work. • The installation of any and all required electrical lines, circuit breaker boxes, etc. A licensed electrical contractor must perform all electrical work. • The installation of all control wiring and controls.
