Improvements at the (1) WWTP include (A) improvements to the sludge dewatering system comprising of adding a second sludge dewatering belt filter press, sludge piping improvements, replacing the polymer feed system, extending the conveyor, adding a second wash water pump, extending the existing building (expansion to be structurally separate), replacing the access platform and stairs, as well as electrical, controls, and mechanical improvements, (B) Repairs to the foundation and block walls of the disinfection building, and (C) installation of laboratory casework in the Admin Building. Improvements within the (2) Sewer Collection system includes (A) improvements at PS #3 (i) replacing the 90 HP submersible pump; (B) Improvements at PS #1 consisting of (1)replacing Controls, (ii) replacing the soft start on Pump No. 3, (iii) replacing 90 HP submersible Pump No. 2, (iv) turning Pump #4 connection into a bypass pumping connection, (v) replacing the existing pump guiderails supports, and (vi) reinstalling the guiderails. Add Alternates: The six (6) Add Alternate projects consists of the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) improvements to (1) replace two(2) clarifier drives, (2) improvements to the sludge grinder in the dewatering building, (3) construction of a new vac truck disposal area, and (4) painting of the lime silo equipment; as well as, collection system improvements to (5) replace 90 HP submersible Pump No.3 at Pump Station No.1, and (6) Jackson Lane Gravity Sewer and Grinder Pump Station Installation.
