A. INTRODUCTION MARTA is expanding and upgrading the current enterprise storage infrastructure at MARTA Headquarters ("HQ"), Candler Park (“CP”), and Integrated Operations Center (“IOC”). The solution is part of MARTA's electronic security program initiative to provide additional storage capacity needed to store and support applications and video footage Authority-wide and refresh the storage infrastructure nearing the end of service and support at the data centers. The Contractor shall complete: 1. Code upgrade of the existing (“IBM”) Enterprise Storage System (“ESS”) at HQ, Candler Park, and IOC to the latest code version for the IBM ESS storage system. 2. Installation of Storage Scale System (SSS) 6000 into existing ESS online and operational as part of the ESS to SSS 6000 upgrades. B. PROJECT OVERVIEW The storage upgrade at the data centers will provide additional storage capacity to the existing storage infrastructure. The overall project shall consist of the following phases: 1. Phase 1 - Kick-off 2. Phase 2 - Planning (requirements analysis/site survey/technical design/workshops) 3. Phase 3 - Preparation (pre-configuration/specialized design testing) 4. Phase 4 - Deployment (site preparation/hardware implementation/testing) 5. Phase 5 - Follow Up (collect statistics/documentation) 6. Phase 6 – Closeout
