The Project includes approximately 2.8 miles of Transmission main (sizes vary from 16-inch to 30-inch) that will connect to an existing 24 inch transmission main in Sunrise Blvd, and follow the Keifer Blvd alignment west to Excelsior Road. The project will also include a 0.6 mile section of 12-inch pipe in Excelsior Road which will connect to the existing Mather system. This pipeline will provide redundancy and operational flexibility for various areas of Mather Housing. A portion of this alignment is paved while some undeveloped. Depending on the timing of future development, it may be determined that an all weather access road is necessary over the top of the pipe. Consultant will coordinate with planning staff as well as development community to coordinate appropriate timing and ultimate status of the road
