This bid contemplates and is intended to procure Pupil Transportation Services under the form of contract included in this bid for Crete-Monee School District 201-U. The pupil transportation services shall be operated and maintained as a benet to the School District’s students, faculty, and sta. School District’s Geographical Boundaries: The School District is a Pre-Kindergarten to 12 th Grade school district in Illinois and is located 30 miles southwest of Chicago. The School District has an enrollment of approximately 4,600 students and has 8 schools and an administration building. The School District’s students and facilities are located in Crete, Monee, Park Forest and University Park. General Operational Information: The School District provides daily Pupil Transportation Services for approximately 700 Special Education and Pre-K students to and from school, operating approximately 43 route sets per day. The School District operates mid-day runs on a daily basis for its pre-school program and various special education transportation routes. The School District also currently provides transportation for various extra-curricular/eld trips as requested by the individual school buildings of the School District, as well as many transportation routes for the various clubs, groups and athletic teams of the School District. The School District operates its transportation services in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and ordinances, as well as the School District’s Board of Education Policy and Procedures.
