New York Power Authority (NYPA) is soliciting information through this Request for Information (RFI) to: 1. Identify the spectrum of relationship opportunities (e.g., Contracting Software as a service, turnkey public/private partnership for full program operations) with advanced Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS) vendors to inform NYPA Virtual Power Plant (VPP) Program business and financial models. 2. Help NYPA gather information to expedite the deployment of a VPP DERMS Platform and to gauge private sector participation interest under its Demand Flexibility VPP program development. 3. Validate, refine, and update DERMS functional and technical requirements. 4. Results of RFI will help to inform a DERMS Request for Proposal (RFP) to be released in Spring 2025.
