In general, the work on this project consists of the complete removal and replacement of two (2) existing 1000-gallon steel atmospheric storage tanks for the New Jersey Supply Authority Clinton Administration Building, located at 1851 New Jersey State Highway Route 31, Clinton, New Jersey 08809. The work includes, but is not limited to, the complete installation of a temporary water storage system; removing from service, draining and removal and disposal of the two (2) existing water storage tanks; removal and disposal of associated tank inlet and outlet piping, valves, fittings and controls as identified on the plans; removal of the existing hollow metal steel double door and frame to facilitate removal of the existing tanks and associated facilities; installation of two (2) new rotationally molded, polyethylene horizontal atmospheric water storage tanks and appurtenances; replacement of hydropneumatic bladder; installation of new associated piping, valves, fittings and tank level controls; installation of a new replacement double door and frame including all associated hardware; completion of all disinfection, testing and start of the new facilities, and the complete removal of all temporary water storage facilities.
