1. The vertical turbine pumping station shall include the pumps, motors, valves, discharge manifold, control panel, and all accessories. 2. The prefabricated pumping system shall be a factory fabricated and tested system with all components completely piped, wired and assembled on a structural steel skid before shipment. 3. All pumping station components shall be supplied by, and be the responsibility of one pumping system manufacturer. 4. The pumping system shall be completely assembled and tested at the manufacturer’s facility prior to shipping to assure operation and performance. Job site start up shall be limited to minor adjustments for site conditions. 5. Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits required for the project and ensure that all work meets both Shawnee County and City of Topeka codes and requirements. 6. Contractor shall keep premises and surrounding area free from accumulation of waste materials or rubbish caused by operations. All rubbish/waste will be removed by Contractor at conclusion of project. 7. Contractor shall notify owner of intent to utilize large machinery and/or equipment on-site during performance of the work. Owner shall designate and approve ingress and egress for machinery and/or equipment. 8. Contractor shall provide one (1) onsite visit during start-up of the system in the spring.
