2. Two new boxes shall be installed one for the freezer and one for the cooler which will include a new floor. There will be one entrance into cooler with an inside ramp and the entrance to freezer will be inside the cooler. Both entrances will include new thresholds (consisting of stainless front walls that faces kitchen). Each box is to have Four Vapor Proof 100-watt Type A LED light fixtures. The walk-in freezer will have a door heater. The units are to be tied into the existing electrical supply. The sprinkler system will be removed from old fixtures and reinstalled in new fixtures by the FCPS staff/contractor that is on contract. 3. Entry doors to be flush mount design. Provide door with heated stainless steel doorjamb, magnetic perimeter gasket, double sweep gasket, three cam lift hinges (one with spring assist), door closer, and deadbolt lock with interior release and key cylinder (compatible with Best 7-pin small format key cylinder core), key and control key by door supplier. Prior to turning over to the owner, the freezer/cooler door supplier shall tum over control key to Rogie Hale, FCPS Food Service Maintenance Supervisor, all hardware is to be chrome plated. Panel finish to be 22-gauge stainless steel at interior and exterior. Door finish to be 18-gauge stainless at interior and exterior. 4. Provide each compartment with air pressure relief ports. Freezer relief port to be heated. 5. Secure thresholds to floor with stainless steel screws and caulk perimeter. 6. A bid bond for 5% of the amount of the bid shall be included with bid submission. A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price must be submitted before work begins. 7. Price is to include removal and disposal of all old material, including but not limited to the walk-in boxes, floors, ceilings, lighting fixtures, plaster wall and any materials needed to gain access to and install new equipment properly. 8. There shall be a one-year warranty on all parts and labor. The warranty shall include but not be limited to one year with parts and labor included on material and workmanship.
