The consultants shall establish a methodology to conduct a comprehensive compensation and classification study that includes but is not limited to those areas included in the scope of service. This project shall include, but is not limited to, the following: (The consultant may propose additions, alternative tasks or additional value-add activities deemed necessary to complete the scope of work, subject to the approval of the City). Job Classifications • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the City’s current job classification structure, related policies and practices and provide a comparative analysis which benchmarks other similar agencies within the same geographic area. • Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the City's job classifications/titles as they relate to all city positions and provide recommendations to classify/reclassify positions as appropriate. • Conduct a job audit of all positions which may include interviews with employees, managers, department directors and the human resources staff to verify and validate current job descriptions.
