The material provided shall be crushed stone and consist of clean, durable, sharp, and angles fragments of rock uniform quality throughout, free from thin or elongated pieces, soft or disintegrated stone, dirt, or other objectionable materials. The stone fill shall meet the requirements specified in Section 620-2 and Table 620-1 Gradation Requirements of the Standard Specifications Construction and Materials of the New York State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications current on the date of advertisement for bid. If undesirable material is furnished from accepted sources through faulty operation or any other cause whatsoever, the objectionable material may be rejected and no payment will be made for the amount rejected.
