GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS A. Clear and remove all overgrown vegetation that is within 3 feet of fence line. B. Contractor will remove all existing chain-link fabric and dispose of offsite. C. Contractor will raise the height of the existing metal posts from 6’ to 8’. Extension of metal post is to be welded to all existing fence posts. D. Install new 8’ height chain-link fabric with privacy slats to perimeter fence and gates. E. Top rail to be - 1 5/8” Schedule 40. F. Bottom tension wire to be 7-gauge smooth fastened with 9-gauge hog ring. G. Install three strands of barbed wire and finish with razor wire. H. Gate slats will be narrow for less wind resistance. I. Maintain a safe working environment to prevent injuries to CHP personnel or damage to CHP property. J. The Contractor, at no expense to the State of California, will repair any damage caused by the Contractor or any of his/her workers
