The proposed improvements include removing the existing pavement and curb and gutter, construction of curb and gutter, asphalt pavement and related improvements. The distance to be improved is approximately 32,436 feet (6.14 miles) within 21 streets The intent of the contract is to provide a complete outline of the work that the Contractor undertakes in full compliance with the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall perform all earthwork, construct all base and surface courses, structures, and such additional, extra, and incidental construction as may be necessary to complete the work to the finished lines, grades and cross sections in an acceptable manner. Due to budgetary constraints, the Village may increase or decrease contract quantities or remove locations of work. No compensation shall be provided to the contractor for any mobilization costs, specifically for changes to quantities
