Materials collected shall be marketed for purpose of recycling to an approved recycling entity. Contractor shall retain revenues received from the sales of recyclable material. Contractor shall have sole discretion in the determination of market outlets utilized in the sale of Recyclable Materials collected. v. Provide list and define materials acceptable for collection, processing, and marketing. The list may be expanded but not contracted without written consent of the City of Merriam. Nothing herein shall be constructed to compel Contractor to pay third parties for the disposal of any items presently regarded as recyclable. vi. Pick up and remove any recyclable, refuse, and Yard Waste materials that may fall to the ground during the collection. vii. Replace all carts after emptying, to the same approximate location as picked up, which should be behind the curb line. viii. Collection shall not begin before 7:00 AM nor extend beyond 7:00 PM unless specifically authorized by the City. The hauler may not in any case collect on arterial streets before 9:00 AM or between 4:00 and 6:00 PM on weekdays.
